Jet

Jet has been speaking to me lately. I have a sphere of it sitting on a bookshelf and I keep finding myself staring at it. It’s one of my favorite pieces, and here’s why:

Jet is a stone that will surprise you. Even when the stone is matted in tone, it still radiates with a wonderful shine. Pick it up and you’ll find that it’s lighter than you’d imagine the stone to be. Surprisingly so.

It has powerful magical properties. It is a protective stone which makes it a great too for guarding against harm, and makes it a nice addition to any home or office—car too for that matter.

It also has incredible healing properties. It draws out and absorbs the negative energy that surrounds and controls mood swings, helping to fight depression. This is a nice one to sleep with under your pillow or near your bedside since it helps ward off nightmares and free-floating anxiety.
