I love this bag! Irini got us each a tarot bag (mine is of a faerie queen – Yay!) from Baba Studio at Readers Studio this year and I have to say the they are even prettier in person.
I noticed the bag pictured here when Baba Studio posted an update on Twitter. Seeing the Moon featured this way had me thinking…does the material the tarot image is printed on change the nature of the image’s meaning? Or does it give different insight? Let’s find out.
Writing prompt: Pull a card from your deck. Focus on the image, allowing your breathing to slow and the noise around you to fade away. See nothing but the card. Then imagine that the card’s surface shifts its texture into something else. What does it look like? What does it feel like? Has the image itself changed or remained the same? Do you see anything you didn’t notice before? Do you see the card any differently now?
Enjoy!

Great writing prompt. I want to try it with Pele, from the Mythical Goddess Tarot. I am sure her surface would change into fluid, warm lava. Would I run from it? Would there be any use in running? She is The Tower’s equivalent for the Mythical Goddess Tarot, after all … so I don’t think there’s much use in running and hiding!
Ooh, I like that one. I don’t have that deck though. I’ll have to look the image up online to see and give it a try too. Now I’m curious!
