Tarot Dame posted an interesting tarot writing prompt on her Facebook page today:
Write a thank-you note about… a horrible vacation… from a hero’s point of view.
(Pull 3 cards and follow the prompt according to what you see in the cards)
I thought it sounded fun so I’m sharing it here. What I pulled from the Vanessa Tarot:
I can’t help but hear the word “Dahh…liing” when I use this deck. Anyway, here’s a quickly rambled thank you note:
Thank you, darling for your kind hospitality over the past two weeks. I’m not sure what possessed you to bring so many heartbroken women together in one group, especially without providing proper tissues. Luckily I wore my tiara so the focus could remain on me. And not to worry, even though the girls are clearly not ready for it, I have my matchmaker interviewing prospective mates at the coffee house now. Your future vacation gatherings should be much brighter in spirits indeed.
Fondly,
Ms. Universe
Heh. That came out silly. But fun.
Post your results on the discussion thread. Enjoy!

Using my Magical Forest Deck – I pulled Knave of Swords, 2 of Pentacles and 5 of Wands.
Thank you for such a mentally simulating weekend. I noticed how you had tried to balance out the different personalities and even if the conversation got a bit lively at times, not to mention somewhat forceful. I was glad to help out with my ability to cut through the confusion – five people all talking together does create some competition.
Perhaps when you plan another intellectual weekend, you may consider that actions may speak louder than words but do they actually make any sense? It just as well clarity is my middle name.
Yours, stimulating,
Knave of Swords.
Thanks for posting!
I’m going to have to look up those cards now. I’m not familiar with this deck…yet. Have a happy day!
