Tarot Writing Prompt: Super Powers

I decided to use one of Corrine Kenner’s old tarot prompts for this week’s writing prompt. :) Pull a card asking, “What super power do I have?” Then write about what the card tells you. The image for Corinne’s post isn’t showing up, but you can see it here.

I pulled the Knight of Wands from the Phantasmagoric Theater Tarot. This card depicts the knight as fixing a toy and it was the wind up part of the toy that caught my eye.

Looking at it in its simplest form, fixing said toy will help the child get to play with it again. That action moves the child from the stagnate position “not getting to play with the toy” to one of action “getting to play with the toy.” So, perhaps my super power would be getting someone who is stuck moving again. I don’t know, rambling here. I’ll have to think about it more and write down ideas in my journal. If you have ideas on what this card could mean for a super power, please let me know. :)

What did you get? :D

How about the super power is not being afraid of putting the skills you have into action so that they benefit not just you but others also.

    Just a thought. :)

This is so awesome! I can’t wait to pull mine :) The “prompt” posts are really helpful; I’m working my way backwards through the archives and looking forward to giving them all a test drive.
