As we previously announced, we are starting up a Reiki book club. The polls are now in and looks the book we’ll be reading first is Hands of Light: A Guide to Healing Through the Human Energy Field by Barbara Brennan.
I’ll put up the first post talking about the first chapter on July 20 so you have time to find a copy (check your local library!)
You’ll be able to chime in here on the blog or on our Facebook fan page. I’ve set up a thread for anyone who will be reading along with me to talk about the book here.
For those who want to read faster than the group will be reading, I’ve set up a thread on the forum for you here.
I’m hoping that keeping the two reading paces separate will keep us slower readers from getting confused.

I will be away the week of the 20th, and I am wondering how many more chapters do you plan to discuss the next time after that, and when will that be?
Sarah — I don’t have a schedule yet. I’m winging it. My schedule is pretty packed and this book is a large trim size. What that means is that I won’t be able to carry it with me on my daily commute, meaning I have less time to read it than other books. I think that once I post on 7/20 I’ll have a better idea of how often I’ll be able to post. It may be every other week. Sometimes I may need more time than that. But the post will still be there. It’s not going away, so don’t feel like you can’t chime in when you return. Thanks!
