Corinne is a Reiki practitioner who cleanses and charges the stones in the jewelry she makes.  I think that’s a fabulous and fun idea. Great for gift giving, especially with the added Reiki energy :) , and for wearing yourself.

The sphere pictured here is one of mine and is the one I keep centered in my home. As one with no earth in her astrological chart (yes, no earth), I use the stone to center and ground the energy throughout my home.

The stone came to me at a rocks & minerals show when one of the dealers gave it to me as a gift. She just felt that I had to have the stone. See? There are truly times when stones just jump out and find you. Isn’t it fun? Now let me tell you all about some of the great properties aragonite has:

I have a sphere of it sitting on a bookshelf and I keep finding myself staring at it. It’s one of my favorite pieces, and here’s why:

Jet is a stone that will surprise you. Even when the stone is matted in tone, it still radiates with a wonderful shine. Pick it up and you’ll find that it’s lighter than you’d imagine the stone to be. Surprisingly so.

It has powerful magical properties. It is a protective stone which makes it a great too for guarding against harm, and makes it a nice addition to any home or office—car too for that matter.

It also has incredible healing properties. It draws out and absorbs the negative energy that surrounds and controls mood swings, helping to fight depression. This is a nice one to sleep with under your pillow or near your bedside since it helps ward off nightmares and free-floating anxiety.
